The 'get a man to fight her battle' comments are great.

Doubling down on being morons.

Cause like me he’s an arse man.

If I saw a woman with really pretty long flowing hair and went up to her and touched it and smelled it, should I be charged with sexual battery?

If so then Creepy Sleepy Uncle Joe Biden has some explaining to do.

She stood right next to a line of runner with her back turned to them. I would legit expect that to happen

Not saying it’s right but if you stand next to the race and give an open shot at your arse, someone is gonna slap it

Can’t believe how many people are here arguing that this isn’t sexual battery. This is textbook.

Not defending him but she’s using this to make a name for herself

If she was as violated, objectified & embarrassed as she said she was when she put it on Twitter she wouldn’t have put it on Twitter
She could have walked into the local PD, reported it & pressed charges

not always a misdemeanor the first time. In Louisiana, there is a felony grade sexual battery and a misdemeanor grade. It doesn't depend on whether you have been convicted of it before.

Right but he’s in Georgia and subject to their laws. So Louisiana doesn’t much matter for this case

False. He will not have to do this because there is nothing in Georgia law that says anything about him having to do this.

He committed misdemeanor sexual battery and therefore will likely have to pay a fine, do some community service, attend a few classes, and that's it. I doubt very seriously he will have to serve any jail time and he most definitely won't have to register as a sex offender. It would be different if he was charged with sexual assault. That is a felony.

Georgia Code
TITLE 16 - CRIMES AND OFFENSES
CHAPTER 6 - SEXUAL OFFENSES
§ 16-6-22.1 - Sexual battery
O.C.G.A. 16-6-22.1 (2010)
16-6-22.1. Sexual battery

(a) For the purposes of this Code section, the term "intimate parts" means the primary genital area, anus, groin, inner thighs, or buttocks of a male or female and the breasts of a female.

(b) A person commits the offense of sexual battery when he or she intentionally makes physical contact with the intimate parts of the body of another person without the consent of that person.

I get why he’s getting charged, what I don’t get is how ANTIFA routinely assaults people and are rarely charged.
Our judicial system uses arbitrary and inconsistent metrics to charge different individuals and groups.

Sexual battery is defined as an "unwanted form of contact with an intimate part of the body that is made for purposes of sexual arousal, sexual gratification or sexual abuse."

It was definitely unwanted contact with an intimate part of the body, but with so many people around and it being on tv, it seemed more like a spur-of-the-moment , "look at me" move.` The guy is obviously a jackass, but the public shaming should probably be enough.
