It makes it sound like the kid starved to death one night, while her mom was stripping. The kid wasn't fed for a few days. If she was dancing because she needed money to feed her kid, she would have went to work, left, went get food for kid.. Took care of kid.
You have to be completely not aware in order to allow a child to starve to death. Stupid worthless bitch.

She weighed 14 lbs and was almost 3 years old. My 5 month old weighs almost 14 lbs and he is small for his age. This child was not fed consistently.

If they were called and at the time, they went there. I would imagine they would have to find evidence of neglect.
Maybe at the time the kid was getting fed, she was just leaving her at home at night, alone. And if that is the case, I would imagine child services can't do much until they are able to prove that was happening.. I really don't know, but it's not like they can monitor every situation after making a visit.

What's even worse, is that her family obviously knew she wasn't taking great care of the kid.. And I guess all they could really do is call CPS and that seemed to cause her to not deal with her family anymore.. They might not have even known where she lived..
Someone has to be certified insane or a crack whore to do something like this.
