The way the article read, it sounded like they reported her a year ago because it said after the family reported her, she hadn't spoken to them in a year. I think that agency could have dropped the ball.

Death is the easy way out for this mother. The other inmates are going to hate her in prison for her crime. She'll get jailhouse justice.

This is a time when the old religions got things right. We need to take these people where there is no doubt in their guilt, and take them into the town square and broadcast it live for free in the US/World and show them getting stoned to death. Start out with little rocks about the size of golf balls and threw a few hundred and then move up to baseball size to really finish them off, and then progressive move up in size.
Maybe even hire ex pitchers, qbs, etc to do the 'throwing of the rocks'.

A sitter for 12 hours every night would add up.
I wonder if she starved the child because she noticed the child would become weak and sleep most of the time she was gone and not have the energy to cry if awake potentially drawing attention to her absence
