Just read they didn’t give up their USA citizenship. How typical.

I want to know where his wealth is incorporated. French taxes make California and NY look like child’s play.

It's a different culture in France.

Not sure if serious or just ignorant.

Yes, Monaco is preferable to France.

spanking doesn't work it makes your kids afraid of you. so when you die alone and your kids want nothing to do with you you'll know why.

I could see not wanting to live in LA but I’m definitely not moving to a major European city right now.

London and Paris have massive Muslim issues right now and violence against people that are not Muslim

There are plenty of places in the United States where he could raise them away from the paparazzi and limelight.

There are zero places in metropolitan areas in the US in which they can avoid paparazzi. I applaud this move if he is sincere in his motives. His kids would be destroyed in LA, or any other American city.

The only tinny note I heard in that was when he said, “They have to carry their dishes in.” Okay, that’s nice, but what about cleaning up?

He makes decisions for his family, not for you.

So he goes to another failing Western country overrun with 3Worlders. Brilliant
I think we all know his kids won’t be encountering any of those people, in France or anywhere else.

Her death notwithstanding, France has some of the most strict paparazzi/libel laws in the western world.

Her death helped someof those come into being. However, this is a significant reason why you often see this with celebrities.

Same. However, it doesn't fit a narrative that some people prefer. I find Clooney to be somewhat pompous at times, and he has sought the exposure in the past, thereby creating some of the paparazzi issues he now has, but good on him for doing what he thinks is right for his kids.

France is nice, but if I had unlimited money I’d go to Italy, where the food is fantastic and the people are nicer. Montepulciano would be perfect.

This right here. I was in Tuscany 2 weeks ago and would jump at the opportunity to live there.

Good paragraph. It should be noted though, I believe he is from Kentucky. I feel certain he could find some rural areas where his kids would not be harassed and he could teach them to carry their plates to the sink.
