Spending time with Abby has really given you insight to most kids.

Yes
Being an everyday smoker is pretty uncommon for ~28-32 year olds, and the vape craze hadn’t really started when these people were in high school/college

Wouldn't shock me, especially if they smoke inside That's the REAL issue.

I don't know the physics or chemistry of it exactly, but smoking inside is just terrible all around and it completely ages your skin (among other things like third hand cancer, making everything smell terrible, etc.)

I just read some thing about the youngest millennials being too young for smoking cigarettes and too old for vaping (in general) so they are aging much better than the zoomers and older millennials
Doubt it. Most of them are pushing 2 bills from my observations.

34 year old millennial here.
It seems like there is a huge disparity in looks between people my age. I’m sure every age group is somewhat similar but I’m really noticing it as I hit my mid 30s.
This is going to sound gay af but I’m hitting a huge glow up the last year or so and it has caused me to really notice how people are taking care of themselves. It’s even more disappointing now when I see early 20’s females wrecking their faces with these procedures.

Ahh I mis read your op. Yea, I’m 30 and juuls didn’t get big til after college for my age group. We still ripped p funks/Marlboros/dipped in HS and college but I only know of one friend that still smokes.
My age group has moved to Zyns and I don’t know anyone that vapes anymore.

Can you explain what this means for the old people?

I agree with OP, but a certain distinction can be made for Botox. Botox is something entirely different. It isn't a permanent thing and can prevent/delay aging side effects by basically not allowing the face to wrinkle. If you stop getting it, it goes away. Young rich people have been doing that as an aging preventative for decades.
My wife has never had a lick of other work done, but she has administered botox for a very long time in a dermatologist/physician's office and gets free injections. Her forehead doesn't wrinkle for a few days, but other than that you can't tell.
The women who get filler and move fat from one place to another and nose jobs and all of that look horrific. That's when you actually change the structure of the face to look like a mutant.
ETA:
Obviously I'm not advocating for extreme botox usage

Seems like we moved on from complaining about millennials
I think the world has just realized Gen Z aren't Millennials. There was a lot of confusion about that for a long time. 90% of the shite Millennials got was actually people bitching about Gen Z.

I have another gay thing
It seems like most guys either get noticeably better looking or wayyyyy worse around 30-35

Women use the term for guys who have gone from meh/ok to handsome as they try harder or simply mature into a more attractive version of themselves.

even the heaviest of weed users aren't around the amount of smoke a daily cig smoker is.
vapes, edibles, etc go a long way to cut that out.
someone who smokes enough weed to have noticeable signs on their skin is not going to age well for a variety for reasons

Just means to radically improve your looks in a short amount of time. It doesn't have to mean surgery and crap, can mean new clothes, haircut and getting in shape.
But the current generation of course takes shortcuts by mutilating their face.
Will Poulter Glow Up is something of note

Same. I’m a 39 year old millennial and people’s jaws drop when they find out. They assume I’m 30-32 who looks good for age 30-32.
I don’t smoke and never had. I never really drank a lot and haven’t had an alcoholic drink since 2019. I exercise and eat protein and fruits and vegetables. If I could cut the sugary sweets, I’d probably look even better.
Compared to a friend of mine who smokes, drinks, and parties and looks 50 at 40.

Yeah she was very hot before. I don't get it. The new nose sucks and she looks like a skeleton. I mean I wshi but just saying.

It’s shocking.
I’ve got quite a few friends and close acquaintances who for our entire lives have been handsome. Some combo of married early, kids, drinking, and moderate steroid use in their 20s has these guys looking busted
It’s getting weird out here in the streets. For my entire life I’ve had to be the kind, funny, disarming guy and now I’m getting a shite ton of attention without doing anything lol. I’m currently assessing how hard to lean into it.

I think old people just complain about young people and we're transitioning from callling them millennials to calling them gen z

I mean, if you’re not married then obviously keep being kind and outgoing and stay away from whores and you’ll end up with a darling wife.
If you’re already married, that’s where it presents a problem for you to deal with.
