Nah, those guys are making money on both ends more than likely. Homeowner paying them to remove the snakes and dealers in snake meat and skins buying their catch from them at the end of the day, and they want them live.

I saw this last night and it gave me the chills. Nope frick all that. I would burn that house down and start all over somewhere else.

There was a TV show that lasted about a year or so that focused on the snake hunters in Texas and followed them to remote sites, along with working farms, etc. while they removed snakes to sell to dealers.
They had some seriously crazy characters on that show, and one that stands out was the older, bald headed guy that use to lay in an old clawfoot type tub and let his people put rattlesnakes in the tub with him at fairs and expos.
