Matthew Goetz is Gasser's attorney.
Seth Shute is the ADA.

Is he a big name at all? Doesn't seem like it

Let’s not forget that yes Gasser May have followed JM but it was JM that pulled up behind and on the side of Gasser at the red light then exited his car and approached Gasser.
JM could have easily taken that right turn on Holmes and if he would have would still be alive today.

Gasser was chasing him with a gun. He may have followed him home and killed his whole damn family

JM could have turned right, Gasser was already pass the turn lane.

There was plenty of room for him to also take the right turn.

Maybe so, but if Gasser really wanted to escalate the situation then why didn’t he get out of his car?

There shouldn't be an argument over whether or not Gasser could have resolved this without killing McKnight - that's a certainty.
Legally, however, that doesn't matter.

Because he had a gun and was much safer inside his car. When McKnight got out, we all know Gasser soiled his pants.

Because he's a gaping pussy that had a gun pulled and realized Joe would've fricked him up.

So would you say he feared for his life?

No. I'd say he actually lost his cool and his temper got the best of him and he made a stupid decision. All he had to do was roll up his window and drive off when the light turned green. He didn't want to remove himself from the situation.

Here is my issue with this law
I can start a fight, I can chase after someone and cause a rukus, i can then legally shoot and kill that person who is unarmed if they put there hand inside my front door of my house that I opened?
Fuuuuuuuuck that seems ridiculous
Posted on 1/26/18 at 3:58 pm to lsupride87
That's why this law is in place:
quote:
A person who is the aggressor or who brings on a difficulty cannot claim the right of self-defense unless he withdraws from the conflict in good faith and in such a manner that his adversary knows or should know that he desires to withdraw and discontinue the conflict.

I agree with you 100%. I’m just saying things that are most likely being said in the jury room.
IMO, Gasser fricked up and deserves to be punished.
I just don’t see it happening
