Between that and Gasser's response to why he started chasing McKnight from the bridge and didn't call 911 being "because I'm a man. I fight my own battles." I'd think that has to be in the jury's mind.

That is what I keep coming back to. The line is crossing into his vehicle, into his home/property.
I don't think Gasser truly felt threatened, but there is a legal line, I believe. And if Gasser says he felt threatened then possibly he was. So JM crossed into his personal property and made the individual feel threatened.
Gasser is a piece of shite, but if I take away the people and background I look at the situation. If this is my home and there is an open window most on this board would say Gasser was justified. The home invasion is a stretch here, admittedly.

I don't know if Joe knew that the whole time or if he just thought he wouldn't use it. However, the more I read the more a feel 100% certain ole Ronnie was seeing a deep shade a red when Joe got out of his car on Behrman.

For the vehicle he has to be attempting to enter the vehicle and the defendant feels deadly force is the only way to get him to stop. I don't know if hands on the window count. Especially with a bulky ladder in his way.

Jury in the Gasser murder trial, now in deliberations, just asked for pictures from the crime scene, measurements of the vehicles involved, crime scene reconstruction drawings and the legal definitions for Second Degree Murder, Manslaughter and Negligent Homicide

The Ronald Gasser trial jury has asked for clarification on the legal definition of aggressor as well as principles dealing with the so-called 'stand your ground' law/justifiable homicide.
