About $3.35 ish here in Indiana. Expecting $5/gallon this summer, but will gladly pay it as long as necessary to ensure Dems get smoked this November and in 2024.

Just wait, it’ll be $7 soon. After adjusting for inflation it’s not even bad right now believe it or not.
Brandon is busy eating ice cream and making sure Hunter’s overseas buddies are getting oil checks for him while he destroys domestic production.

So for those keeping track at home:
1) The US has more than enough domestic oil and gas to both be energy independent and supply our allies in Europe, which in doing would create goodwill and give us leverage over Russia
2) That domestic production would also reduce gas and oil prices for Americans
3) We intentionally forgo that domestic inventory because fossil fuels are bad
4) We then beg other countries to pull more out of the ground...so at the end of the day the same amount is used, it's just that other countries benefit from it and it makes our adversaries more powerful/influential
BRILLIANT!
ETA: $3.91 / gallon for regular in Chicago, $4.76 for premium.
Our fat governor also came out and said that he's "putting $135 million back into the pockets of Illinois residents" because he's freezing the gas tax. Only happens in an election year, and I'm not sure in what world, not raising a tax puts money back in people's pockets. (Illinois currently has the 2nd highest gas taxes in the country).

MILAN, Feb 8 (Reuters) - The U.S. government has asked to meet Eni, TotalEnergies and other energy companies operating in Algeria to see if more gas can be sourced from the country, sources familiar with the matter said.
The move comes as Washington ramps up efforts to find alternative gas supplies for Europe in case any disruption arises from the standoff between Russia and Ukraine.
The European Union depends on Russia for more than a third of its gas, and any interruption of flows would worsen an energy crisis that has already sent consumer bills sky high.
"The U.S. has requested a meeting with Eni on Algeria," one of the sources said.
Eni, which has a series of long-term gas contracts with Algerian gas monopolist Sonatrach, is one of the country's biggest foreign producers.
A second source said Washington had reached out to France's TotalEnergies and other companies in the region, including Equinor and Occidental Petroleum Corp.
