Gas prices could reach $10-12 a gallon next year on the West Coast

California created their own problem
quote:
Lawmakers in California at both the state and federal levels are warning that refinery closures could push prices higher while leaving the state more dependent on foreign oil.
At the center of the warning is the planned shutdown of two major refineries: Valero’s Benicia facility and Phillips 66’s Los Angeles plant. Together, the closures would eliminate nearly 20% of California’s in-state refining capacity
quote:
California already has the highest gas prices in the country. As of December 2025, drivers are paying about $4.34 per gallon statewide, according to AAA (3). That is roughly $1.40 more per gallon than the national average of around $2.90. Petroleum expert Mike Ariza, who co-authored a recent report on California’s energy outlook, told ABC10 gas could reach $10 to $12 per gallon in extreme scenarios.

Keep voting for unqualified Democrats.
All Newscum ever ran before the state was a cafe his father bought for him.

I do not believe their votes matter. If there are rigged elections, CA would be the biggest offender.

Well, if they would quit attacking the O&G industry with fines, regulations, and mandates, then keep lying to the public that the high prices are due to corporate greed instead of government policy, then maybe they wouldn't have run off all the O&G companies. This is a manmade disaster, and I sure as hell hope the Fed's don't step in to bail them out. This is a lesson on why governments shouldn't write environmental polices such as mandating fuel blends without consulting the industry its affecting.

They are getting what they voted for so congrats to them. They should be happy.

You get the government that you ask for and deserve.
They are simply getting the outcome that they started at the ballot box. They should be satisfied.

Are they TRYING to run people out of the state?

CA's Scorched Earth authoritarian policies and governance make no sense. UNLESS...
The Globalists must now be completely in charge of California. This is a controlled but rapid demolition of the state as Agenda 2030 in the US and its "15-minute cities" begin in CA.

I would say “Good”, but the result would be even more of those scumbags moving here. Where they would immediately try and impose the same bullshite that priced them out in the first place. They're goddamed locusts.
