Way back in the day in mid-70s Tulsa, he and Gailard Sartain (from Hee Haw) did a late night "film festival" on one of the local TV stations. They would do skits during commercial breaks.
He was in his early 20s then. "Teddy Jack Eddy". There is some video out there on YouTube. One example.
