If the prosecutors are smart, they’ll get in front of the jury, point at Ward and say “white.” Then point to a picture of the victim and say “black” then rest their case.
A New Orleans jury would immediately convict.

I"m not knighting for the guy, so you can slow your roll. He's a moron and deserves to go to prison for what he did. There is absolutely no reason for any adult to punch anyone unless you are defending your own life or your families, and in those instances, you better have been punched first if this fight happened outside of some kind of home invasion and for some reason you didn't get your gun.

didn't they put up property to get him out the first time? Can you use the same property on multiple bonds? I would imagine that plus what's likely going to be mountains of legal debt, might have been tough
but yeah once I got that news, I'm likely getting the frick out of dodge. I've seen him at my gym several times since the incident, but I don't think he's bulked up enough for OPP

Now I'm not a prosecutor, but I don't think they'd even have to address him specifically breaking laws. They'd just need to stick to old vs young, frail vs huge, protector vs aggressor, black vs white, and dead vs alive. It wouldn't be that hard considering the collective IQ of the jury would be a grape

The guy who was subsequently killed allegedly confronted the killer when the killer was physically abusing a woman. So the woman beater was also the killer according to the daughter of the dead guy.

Press conference at 1:00 PM the next day stated:
