Just coming in, close sources say his family was able to somehow scrap together the bail. Bad situation all-around though. Some final hour financial maneuvering

Thanks for the update
Really don't see the reasoning for putting that much financial strain on the family just to keep him out of jail for a couple of months when its a far-gone conclusion that he will be doing a hefty amount of time. I know it's just a drop in the bucket but he could have gotten time served for the couple of months between now and the trial.

I know a few people who got in illegally, go back to visit for a couple of weeks every year, and come right back illegally. They all just drive down and either drive back over, or go across the river.

If the parents did indeed somehow pony up the full million, it leads me to believe that he actually plans to take it to trial and fight the thing... good luck with that... Would they get the money back if takes some sort of deal for a lesser charge?
