I'd have a suicide plan if I'm cornered by the law.

And if I was caught before that, I'd kill myself in jail before trial to save my family from that shite.

Yeaaaaaa I don't know if I could do that. Now maybe after a month in OPP, I may see things differently.

It's extremely easy to get into some very backroom shite in Mexican border towns. Probably take less than 48 hrs to take care of everything, and be out of Mexico into the wide unknown now named Jose or Raul or some shite.

He'll have that good jailhouse wine.. but I'm sure he'll be drinking some protein shakes against his will.

Too many people watch movies and think it would just be a cakewalk to escape the country and flee. Sorry, I don't buy it.

We live in a coastal state. He could get approved on a brand new jet ski today. Zero down. Buy a big arse tube as well and use it to float and tow fuel.

Into Mexico in under 36 hours and basically untraceable.

If he ditched the tube offshore, rode up on the beach. He would blend in with the tourists and could walk away. Leaving it there.

If he was smart, he could sink the ski offshore and swim in.

I never said I wouldn't give it a try if I knew I was going to prison for 30-40 years BUT if you get caught you will for sure die in prison.

30-40 years might as well be life. I'm running as soon as my shoes hit the pavement out on bail.

I would've the first time, but now my relatives would lose their homes that they put up.

Suicide might be the way out.

The one hang up is how do you get the ankle monitor off without alerting the authorities.

If you can get the ankle off, and run for it, you should realistically be able to make into Mexico before anyone notices you're gone.

Some of you guys are overreacting. He hasn’t even been found guilty yet. Let the trial play out. Who knows what will happen

Plus you guys watch too many movies. Prison life isn’t what the movies portray it as. You get fed, get to watch TV, get your own room, get to play games with other prisoner, play cards, smoke cigarettes, play cards, go to church, learn a trade, workout, write notes to your family and friends.

I think you have to have everything in place before, including a trunk to hide in that is waiting outside, then cut it off and bolt.

Shave head and dye hair, grow beard, get fake ID, arrange travel, arrange boat, get out cash, etc.

Pretty sure it alarms when tampered with. So they'd have your last known location, better be zig zagging pretty fricking good to not get caught.

I'm sure they'd have I-10 West pretty covered up soon enough.

I thought that was the prison starter kick? You know, they hand you the orange jumpsuit and the book of the prison tats available.

I promise you that you are wrong in this case. He is going to jail as a preppy white guy that beat an old feeble black man to death for no reason. They will all know why he's in there.

It is going to end very badly for him.

Also, "own room", LOL. Prisons are busting at the seams. A guy I know, cough cough, spent 3 nights in Okaloosa County Jail in population and had to sleep on the floor with his 2 cell mates. Ate bologna sandwiches in the cell next to his cell mates taking shits. Saw several scuffles and lots of verbal threats were thrown in his direction from other inmates.

And this was the "well-behaved" prisoner block.

I'd like to hi-jack this thread and see realistically how people would disappear in this situation. This is interesting.
