If they posted bail in full, they get the money back if he shows up for court. Guilty, not guilty, or plea. If he runs, they lose the money

So when a guy is charged with or suspected of a crime, it is okay for him to run from the charge or their responsibility?

Just asking for future reference.

Or, if he has a friend or two who says he couldn't have possibility done what he is accused of doing, even if he does have a history of doing things under the influence, then it's all good too right?

Again, just asking for future reference.

Trying to figure out why many posters (not all) are going against the O-T narrative in this instance.

If I were not going to run, I would just get the clock started and not post bail. It would be like a prison sitting at home thinking about this not being able to really go anywhere and no one really wanting to talk to you.

Where would you go?

Mauritania, Micronesia, Moldova, Mongolia, Montenegro, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Nepal, Niger, Oman, Qatar, Russia, Rwanda, Samoa, São Tomé & Príncipe, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Serbia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Togo, Tunisia, Uganda, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, Vanuatu, Vatican, Vietnam and Yemen

It'd be a no brainer. I'd hoof it across the Mexican border, then pay some drug cartel guy to get me a fake mexican passport and then hop a flight to Montenegro.
shite I might run to Montenegro now, and I haven't even ever murdered anyone yet

Is it ok? Probably not in the eyes of others, but if it was me, I'd be worried about 30 years of arse rape, so I would flee out of self-preservation.

As a guy that knows a lot of his friends (including the ones on here), I haven't heard any defend him after all of the facts came out. They say they're shocked because he had never been in trouble before and was a nice guy to everyone before this incident.

Works out better than Jamal and his gang of merry friends taking turns on my rectum in the OPP shower.

Too many people watch movies and think it would just be a cakewalk to escape the country and flee. Sorry, I don't buy it.

It wouldn't be a cakewalk, but is sure as shite would be more favorable than going to trial/prison, so I'd give it the old college try in a heart beat.

I think best bet would certainly be go south of the border, but then board a cargo ship and pay a captain to smuggle you over there.

Right.

Its easy as hell to get a good fake ID in the US.

Just do that before going to Mexico with a bunch of cash. Lay low for a while and ask around to see where you can pay to get some fake papers. People in Mexico need fake papers all the time. Take cargo ship to Africa.

I never said I wouldn't give it a try if I knew I was going to prison for 30-40 years BUT if you get caught you will for sure die in prison.

I'd have a suicide plan if I'm cornered by the law.

And if I was caught before that, I'd kill myself in jail before trial to save my family from that shite.
