I clarified that statement in the portion you decided to omit, but I wasn't really expecting you to be honest, so I'm not really surprised by your response here. Hang in there, champ.

"CRT has become a trending issue in the news especially in regard to its usage in K-12 school discussions. However, "There is little to no evidence that critical race theory itself is being taught to K-12 public school students, though some ideas central to it, such as lingering consequences of slavery, have been." (The Associated Press).
And your position is that if we can't agree on the credibility of a vague, unevidenced summary from a media institution, there is no room for debate?
The AP blurb reflects the same defense we've seen for this entire debate (well, before and after multiple entities in K-12 publicly praised CRT...). It's a silly argument. No, they're not using Bell Hooks in your kid's 3rd grade class. Yes, they are using concepts stemming from CRT that have all the destructive power (perhaps more) of the underlying academic writings.
CRT is not some limited and obscure discipline -
"Critical race theory has exploded from a narrow subspecialty of jurisprudence chiefly of interest to academic lawyers into a literature read in departments of education, cultural studies, English, sociology, comparative literature, political science, history, and anthropology around the country."
Nor is it primarily concerned with things like the lingering impacts of slavery, instead -
"Critical race theory questions the very foundations of the liberal order, including equality theory, legal reasoning, Enlightenment rationalism and neutral principles of constitutional law."
So while Delgado and Stefancik aren't going to be read to your kid most likely, your kid may well hear refutations of colorblindness, little pictures of apple trees or baseball game watchers showing equality vs. equity, discussions of how the law doesn't protect people of color, or how merit and legal neutrality are flawed concepts. All of these, as well as a lot of the antiracism movement concepts, the intersectionality concepts, etc. can be traced to CRT/CRT academics.

True. Lots of people underestimate just how scared white people are of learning some ugly truths in this country’s history, and the lengths they will go to to protect little Braxleigh from learning it.
Lol, what's hilarious is that the idiocy you posted could be an El Gaucho post but you're actually serious.

CRT is being pushed in public schools and higher education and there is really no potential positive outcome from it but further division in the country. But ultimately that's probably what's best for politicians.
They need an angry, motivated base.

Academia
Apparently now the military
Media
Most mid to large city justice systems (PD's to DA's to judges)
Most all federal agencies and departments

I'll bite.
Name specific segments of public K-12 curriculum that have changed due to CRT, citing specific examples, that were not taught to you or I when we were children. And to make it even more specific, please use examples from states who were so overwhelmed by the persistent brainwashing of CRT that they've taken actions to legally outlaw the practice.

For the entirety of our lives a colorblind society has been the objective and has been reinforced at the primary level.
It is now completely out of vogue and arguably a socially unacceptable position in education.
But hey, perhaps "we should view everyone equally and ignore skin color" to "skin color is unbelievably important and should be prioritized" isn't a big enough shift?
Posted on 10/4/21 at 9:24 pm to loogaroo
I must have missed the part in the memo that mentions anything about CRT? But I guess the Twitter guy said it, so it must be true.
