Why do you think that is funny? I don't get it.

Pretty easy install. I’ve done it in two different houses. Much easier to do yourself than have to mess with some crooked handyman.

Then you know more about your house.

Ever hear a plumber’s opinion on garbage disposals. They love them in other people’s houses, not their own…

Found that out after my wife decided to put a bunch of old cauliflower down the disposal instead of the trash, plumber was at the house a day later snaking out the line..

I have done it and pretty straight forward.. Just a tip have someone or something pushing down on the sink drain thing while you are attaching the retainer ring on the deposal underneath the sink... even the putty won't hold the drain steady while you are attaching the retainer ring.. whoever came up with that design is a butthole.. but it works..

Many times. It takes maybe 10-15 minutes.

Just replaced one last week, actually my wife did. I just had my knee replaced and can't get down under the sink yet. But I walked her through it.

Call several plummers
You can find one yo do it for $150
Offer to pay cash and maybe a better price
It will take him 30 minutes and take you for the first time 60 minutes

Is really easy. Even easier if you but the same brand then you can leave the sink mount in place.
If it's same size plumbing usually lines up. But it's simple work.

I've made so much money over the years because of people not doing this.

"My dishwasher used to work fine, but now after Channing garbage disposal it doesn't drain"

Ok. Give me 5 seconds with a flat blade screwdriver.

I replaced my 25 year-old disposal using the instructions that came with it and it was quite easy and simple so you should be able to do it.

Very easy…..be sure to buy the same brand you currently have and all of the connections will match up. Use the existing flange in the sink, too. Be sure to turn the breaker off when you do the electrical….dont rely on the switch.

90% of the market is n-sink-Erator, so they should be fairly standard. As everyone else says, don’t forget to pop out the dishwasher plug if needed before you install.

I always look to see what brand and model it is and duplicate it since there is a 100% chance the bracket will match and the plumbing will already be lined up. It is like screwing in a replacement light bulb.

If you can’t do it, turn in your man card.

Yeah, that's an easy job. My wife has a special skill in breaking those things.

If it fits your existing sink hardware you literally just remove 2 screws, twist the old one off and twist the new one on (if it fits existing sink mount) and reinstall screws.

Typically on a new one you might have to bust out a piece of plastic that seals where the PVC is attached. It's 2/10 difficulty.
