CAD...having read your posts and now seeing your garage I want to have a beer with you . You have to be an interesting guy . Also, solid tool box. Got the same one a few months ago.
Are you sure you're talking to the right cad?

then a $200 kit lol.
Clear topcoat
I think any DIY kit you do, if you don't put the above kit over it, is not gonna last.
You put the color flakes in the color coat and then put the grit in the clear, top coat.
By the time you buy both kits and the rollers and special pans ( you have to throw away all materials) and pay a helper ( you have a limited amt. of time to lay the epoxy down), you are looking at $5-700 to do a regular two-car garage.

prepare the floor as per directions, let it totally dry.
Use the kit, let dry.
Go over the whole thing with clear epoxy.
It will take 7 days, start to finish. You will get excellent results, but only if you do the prep work and give it plenty of time to cure.
Yep. I think I cut that down to 5 days myself.
I just took advantage of the thanksgiving week to do this and luckily it was dry and low humidity that week. 2 very important things if you are going to leave all your crap in the front yard for several days.
I can see this being a problem schedule wise for alot of people.

Yes, you can move stuff back in sooner than 7 days, but I think for cars to park on it, you had to wait.
After my previous two less than stellar outcomes, I followed all the directions.

Seeing your garage makes me sad and I feel like less of a man. I have kid shite everywhere, a boat, jeep, ZTR, 2 generators...it looks like a bomb blew up.

Buddy bought a house in a gated community north of Dallas a couple of years ago. Company had him up there two weeks before the moving truck delivered. He decided to do the garage floor in the interim. He was out there putting the finish down when one of the neighbors walked over and asked him "how much to do mine?" Figuring he was hired. As Charlie relates it, "I was the first black dude in an all white subdivision so it was a reasonable assumption." He told the neighbor $2k and neighbor said that was too high and left. Charlie finishes the story with telling me that the look on the guys face when he came over to welcome the new neighbors as the moving truck unloaded was priceless.
I chuckle about this story every time i see a painted garage floor.

We used a company called "Premier Garage" We did our three-car garage (plus cabinets, etc), my Mom's garage (floor only), and my mother-in-law's garage (floor only). You pay a bit more, but probably well worth it.
