BUT monuments and flags are oppressive and have to be removed. All that's need to rise up above the violence, crime, poverty....remove the monuments and ALL WILL BE WELL.

If people want less policing, this is what will happen.

Governor Brian Kemp has declared a state of emergency in Georgia after 31 people were shot and 5 people were killed over the weekend in Atlanta.

Those are rookie numbers. NOLA and BR laughs at ATL

Was needed. Broke my heart hearing the parents of that little girl that was killed. If the mayors of these towns refuse to act the governors need to take charge.

The mayor trying to tie it to the R. Brooks shooting made my blood boil

Welfare with no mechanism.to improve ie education/job training

Blaming society for personal failure

The war on drugs.

Cut barriers to entry for cottage industry to boom

These are all common sense fixes but people are afraid to support.

That’s not really that crazy for the ghetto on the 4th of July. Doesn’t really call for a freaking state of emergency. Hood gonna hood it always flairs up on summer holidays.

Not even close. They have Priority Zones that have higher crime rates than the rest of the city but those typically pale in comparison to American inner cities in terms of crime rates and are typically located far away from the city center.

In general, France is just a much less violent place compared to the US.

Europe is different but South American cities have similar problems. Look at certain cities in Brazil
