Funniest case of documented self ownage- Jeremy DeWitte; currently serving 12 years+

This is the "serial impersonator" out of Orlando area that partly gone viral on YT during COVID. Fast forward 3 years, and he's done about 2.5 years in custody since, violated all types of probation and they discovered more criminal charges on him, for which he's been sentenced to 12 years in prison and awaiting another sentencing for staging car accidents.
His rap sheet is statuatory rape in 2005, he's now a registered sex offender, impersonation of LEO (x3 1998 2019,2020), failure to register as a sex offender, aggravated battery, insurance fraud.
Oh, and he also likes to pretend to be a veteran and jumped in Fallujah, but he never actually served in any armed forces, just played airsoft.

He stages insurance fraud, tried to tax evade, likes to manipulate gullible people, commited loan fraud on and elderly landlord by convincing him to give him a loan on tow trucks and then printing new title claiming the old one was lost and never repaying the old man.
He's a little scumbag who did like to impersonate to gain control over people, but not crazy. I reserve "crazy" for crimes that have no financial gain or chance of succeeding. He actually tried to run his schemes and "businesses" and did so for some time. Fortunately, he was too stupid to pull it off for too long.

I've seen a few of his videos on YT. Guy is a complete tool. Local LEO hate him with a passion.

It's amazing how many times he's recorded himself breaking the law. The insurance fraud stems from him switching out drivers after an accident to one that was insured. And he posted the video himself.

I don't recall any unit jumping in Fallujah. You could drive right in. But I do know of at least 2 airborne units that were there at the beginning. That doesn't mean they jump in though.
ETA I've never played airsoft. But it seems sort of fun just looking at it.
