Funes now being investigated by Secret Service, was (maybe) at LSU game last night..fwiw

Article now says he stole "millions" (last I saw was $800,00). In any case saw him on jumbotron at MBB last night, don't know the guy personally but he looked like he was having fun. I get it, he is innocent until proven guilty but seems a bit much, anyone hear anything more..IRS, BTR DA, SS, FBI..can't be good. I know many on OT know him, thoughts?

Last person I spoke with in this, who would be in a position to know, said OLOL really doesn’t want this debacle aired publicly and was discussing a financial restitution agreement with his family. That was prior to the feds being involved. That could greatly change things.

I worry plenty about myself and am not worried about him..like others have said this is a message board, guy is accused of stealing millions from a children's hospital and is a long time LSU guy, very well known and by most accounts thought to be a great guy, forgive me for being curious.

I don’t have a dog in the hunt but maybe OLOL or the nuns should have thought about all of these things before they went to DEFCON 1 in the media. They could have “parted ways” without providing any reasons to the media. OLOL chose to put everything in the public forum and now wants to quietly resolve the matter so it doesn’t have to air the dirty laundry?
