Unless you're carrying off the street, you would need to get your gun out of your bag, load it, and conceal carry it before you even left the airport. Neither are practical ways to deter this shooter.
Not saying it would change anything here, but I'm less talking about arriving passengers than I am the numerous people who are always in baggage claim meeting/picking up those passengers.

Yeah, I've got no problem with the policy, but I'd imagine the amount of people who conceal carry while waiting in an airport baggage claim area to pick up passengers is pretty damn low. Allowing it is perfectly fine, but I doubt it deters a situation like this.

Assuming this is a false flag, what is the ultimate goal? Who benefits? Gun laws aren't changing. Airport security measures aren't changing.

Because it makes no logical sense whatsoever. If you're going to pull a stunt like this for political purposes, you'd think they'd pull out all the stops - white male, multiple AR-15s, MAGA t-shirt on, KKK hat, etc.
