My parents and 3 of my friends have been noticing little bitty looking fruit flies in my house and I'm curious if this is a widespread problem that could potentially get worse. You seen these little boogers in your dwelling lately?

Yea, I thought it may be from open garbage bags since our cabinet is gone.

Yeah they get bad quick. Put out a Tupperware half full of apple cider vinegar with a few drops of liquid dish detergent in it and that'll help get rid of them

Pour some apple cider vinegar and put some dish soap in a cup. Will eradicate those tiny bastards

We battled them for a month. Until you find where they are laying eggs you are fricked.

I bought traps, I made the cider thing at home and still battled them. I found the place they were laying eggs and then did the trap thingy again and poof, they were gone.

See if you can find the hoard. That's where the eggs are.

Not so much the fruit flies but we've been dealing with big outdoor flies in general. These things are bigger than a typical fly, bluish-green in color, and come in swarms. They seem to gather on the dog turds in my back yard.

Those are likely sod web worms. By the time they are moths, it's too late.

sod webworms. Only thing that will kill the larvae is Talstar or bifenthrin

Kip should fill an above ground pool with apple cider vinegar with dish soap for the whole town and send all those bastards away. That would put the icing on his 12 year cake for BR. he should be out there doing it himself at the north blvd town square
