No shite. I quit smoking a year after I got out... but I couldn't imagine not smoking at sea. Sometimes going to the smoke pit and lighting up was the only thing that kept me from killing a mfer.

Women have no business being in the military other than in rear area admin or medical fields. And I’m not saying that because I have anything against women. I’m saying that because one of the fastest and most sure-fire ways to harm unit morale, cohesion, and combat effectiveness is for their to be sexual/romantic issues and distractions between members in that unit. For that same reason, gays and transgenders likewise should not be allowed in the military.

Agreed. I spent some time on a sub tender (surface ship) with about a 50/50 male/female crew. It was like being in goddamn high school. Drama and shite everywhere.
