Why is the kid testifying against her?
Not excusing her behavior, but it sounds like he tried to extort her. Even at 16, I don't think this kid is completely innocent. He knew what he was doing. This whole thing is fricked.

Can you imagine how he feels knowing this story is in the New York Times today? What kind of conversation are they having around the dinner table tonight. It came out in the trial that he took a pic of himself rubbing his dick on the younger teacher's face while she was sleeping and showed it to his friends. Any chance of a favorable civil verdict or settlement just went into the shitter.

dufresne's defense rested without calling a single witness. closing arguments are done and the judge has called everyone back to court for a 2PM verdict

I'm sorry. I would not convict this woman regardless of what the law says. Jury nullification in full effect. This is bullshite. She is a street trash whore and should be fired from being a teacher but that's no crime. This dude is not a victim in any sense of the word. Just more government overreach.
