Friend's Wife Wants to Cheat on Him ---- With Me

Dear OT_Abby:
This happened a number of years back but it's always bothered me. My buddy whom I have known since middle school got married when we were I guess late 20's.
Edit: Due to the ADD of this forum, I'm gonna edit this to a few sentences.
One day she starts texting me just asking me random questions about mundane things. Texts progress and before long she's asking me to meet. I found this inappropriate and just made up a reason to say no.
Turns out I was right that she wanted to frick because about a year later he divorced her for banging another friend of his (a more distant friend).
My dilemma is should I have told him when this happened or should I now? I still haven't told him even today. Ijust feel like I coulda saved him some grief by telling him before he caught her with another dude. But I feel that it would wreck our friendship even though I did nothing wrong.
EDIT: I did NOT bang her, just to be clear. I am only asking if I shoulda told him?

You should have told him and offered to film the encounter.

If you didn't tell him and he later caught her red handed, just let it go at this point. Nothing good will come from you hiding it all this time if you tell him

No you couldn't have....this chick was/is a serial cheater. The heartache was gonna happen either way.

If you didn't and they're not married anymore, why would you bring it up? You shouldn't have anything weighing you down if you didnt do anything. And besides, she fricked another dude. He knows she's a slut so why rub it in his face?

You really should have put more effort in when you were making this shite up.

At least he didn't catch her white faced.

She sounds fat. Is that why you didn’t bang her?

This is the answer. He already knows she's a cheater. You're not going to tell him anything he doesn't know, and he'll just start thinking you're lying and you actually did it with her.
Just shut up and help him move on with his life if you're actually his friend.
