And he’s still going to have to give her half. That’s criminal in my opinion.

Not in Texas. Former spouse is out when a divorce is finalized. Only thing you have to keep an eye on is to make sure that the former spouse is removed as beneficiary on all of your applicable accounts.

Coworker had this happen to him as well. 30 years, 3 kids and she says to him “ i’m not happy anymore “. He tried to keep it going even after she moved out UNTIL he found out she was banging a much younger man. Completely broke the poor bastard.
These hoes ain’t loyal , baws . Be safe out there

Was married 19 years here. Three kids under 10 years old when she left. Mine discovered heroin and fell in love with her drug dealer at 40 years old.

That was over 10 years ago. I put in a lot of hard years, but it's paid off. Kids are doing great.

Was there any evidence that things were going badly before this happened? Was the romance dying? Was she farting in front of you and not trying to hide it anymore?

Absolutely. She was always Britney Spears wild since the day we met. Never a big drug user though. The social life and sex was great, but daily life could be challenging. Lots of past demons always creeping up.

We were still romantic and sexually active a few months before she disappeared. It all started when she started hanging out with one of her HS female frieinds who'd been recently divorced. Divorce is very contagious amongst BFF's.

Hopefully the new man marries her so he is not on the hook for alimony. If the new man has money the more the better. Your friend is better off and will be OK.
