You gotta hope this guy is drunk, someone stole the ship, or he’s getting ship head, otherwise this will go down as a great American frickup.

Sometimes ships lose power. This happens on the Mississippi River. Remember the cargo ship that hit the Riverwalk?

At least it was at 3am and not 3pm.

True, and I’m not even gonna pretend to know what the redundancy plan is for that situation.

Damn, I was expecting a section to go down but the whole thing went.

So they just said 3 of the vehicles were workers pouring concrete. Which is why I think some vehicles weren't moving.

Oh, shite. That’s bad. There will be a lot of deaths.
The multiple angles lead me to believe the ship had an issue or did something that caused several people to film this at 3AM.
The owner and insurance company of that ship are about to be bankrupt.

Looks like the ship lost power.

They are estimating 20 construction workers on the bridge.

Why isn’t this being covered on any of the news channels? Seems like it would be a big story.

Watching the live feed of the bridge before the collapse, it seems to have hit when the bridge only had construction workers on it. It was the slowest point in the moments leading up to the collapse, which is a silver lining.
This stuff fascinates me. If a few of those people who crossed right before the collapse would have taken a minute longer to leave the house this morning they’d be in the river right now.
