For years, I've heard from professionals that you need to pay attention if you're in the cone and not to focus just on the center line.

The cone has been meaningless since 2000 when they started letting them move it.

The F stands for Federal, which means whatever he says is wrong. Either a thunderstorm or cat 6 incoming

Eh, get to sleep thru them for the most part. House doesn't get hot before you can set up the generator the next day.

Only "good" part about daytime hurricanes is watching shite blow away

i woulnd't be able to sleep during a hurricane. At least not true hurricane force winds.

Give me a noonish for a storm. Still time in the morning to do stuff last minute. Then some daylight to clean up but not too much for it to get hot.

Whoever the soyboy curly haired phag that was on a little bit ago was pissed that people are worried about where the cone is and not the center line.

For years, I've heard from professionals that you need to pay attention if you're in the cone and not to focus just on the center line.

I don't even really look at the cones anymore, beyond general reference to trends. I find they do more harm than good for the average person.

I tend to look more at wind arrival time maps:

With an eye on 50kt and hurricane speed probability maps:

I think it means midnight. Since CST is -6
But we're currently on daylight savings time, not Central Standard Time.

So, -5 hours from zulu.

Yet Im sure you'll be paying close attention to the 10 am update, put out by a federal agency.

Check the travel board .. CuseTiger is typically posting about airlines and waivers and whatnot.

Can you change your flight to Houston and drive to Houston tomorrow to avoid traveling in crap weather?
