I don't think the Laura one was taken maliciously. The pole it was on was taken down when the surge rolled through. I think it came up missing when early debris removal began.

I called it. Michael it ain't, but the shear hasn't done what they said it would do and the pressure continued to drop until landfall. It might even drop a little more. They still aren't as good with intensity as they are track.
