LSU used to be pretty reluctant to close
I ended up at the student health center getting stitches during Andrew because LSU wouldn't close no matter what.

Yep. We had finals during the 2008 snow storm, we were told to reach out to professors to figure it out.

There's a big tree leaning my way over the fence that I asked my neighbor if I could cut down he wouldn't let me. I offered to pay for everything but it's leaning straight towards my house from over the fence. Has me a little worried. Honestly don't want to deal with insurance either.

slidell was at 60-70% chance of tropical storm force winds with the 7am update. I can only imagine that's gone up with the eastern shift in the 10am update.

That track is almost right over Associated Grocers, Louisiana State Police, Amazon. I know AG has backup power for their warehouse and server room, but not sure about the others.
Straight through the middle of the "medical corridor" for Baton Rouge too. Track looks to go directly over OLOL and Baton Rouge General is only a mile east.

Your property line goes 300ft into the air. If a tree is hanging over into your property you can cut that portion down without asking anyone questions .
