Not landfall, obviously, but that's a big arse difference in 2 days. I'm not criticizing the forecasting, just butt puckering a little
It's still unlikely this will bring Cat 1 winds to Mandeville. Sure, there are some models that have it this way but also some that have it west of Lake Charles.

Alot of uncertainty here but no real changes to impact here in the last 24 hours or so.

Texas getting the effects currently. Hoping it gets a little further offshore and it's not spinning up twisters all the way around the bend.

The slight move of the cone eastward now has 75mph + wind gusts tomorrow night at my house.

Looks like it might be as high as 80mph gusts predicted in Baton Rouge. So if you are in the Baton Rouge metro, be aware. It's not going to be Laura or Katrina, but you should be prepared to lose electricity and internet for a few days. Pick up the loose patio furniture.

If the spaghetti hits you early enough you are usually in good shape.

What models are west of lake Charles? The trends are an eastern shift.

How is the Lafayette President related to Gov. Blanco?

Has Landry even made an appearance yet?

we dont need bans, yall need to stop being pussies and getting butthurt over every little thing. if you dont agree with something...say so and say why

No, we need bans.

The threads get wildly derailed when people say shite like "frick baton rouge and frick all of y'all, I hope this thing moves hard East and fricks every one of you. Trust me, I live in LC so I can say this"

And when people get on their soap box about whether school should be cancelled or not.

Got nothing to do with being a pussy, more to do with I don't wanna comb through all that dick measuring to find useful information about a destructive storm in my area.

More eastward movement. Most models are now showing East of Baton Rouge.

I’ll start a thread for arguing about hurricane related shite. When people start bickering in this thread, tell them to take it outside to my thread. I’ll be waiting

I’ll post a link when I’m finished

as of now, i would expect this storm to be worse for BR than either of those were

not nearly as bad as gustav though...i wouldnt expect this storm to stay that strong that far inland.

at least as of now. Gustav stayed strong AF way inland.

Amen. We are almost 24 hours from landfall, Let’s do without the self righteous pissing contests over whose projections was correct
