Do you honestly think that anything productive happens on days like today? When the adults have everything BUT education on their minds? No. There isn’t.

This is so damn easy for you to say. Who are you to speak for EVERYBODY else’s situation? You have no clue what everyone else needs to do before landfall. No fricking clue

Models keep pushing further and further east. BR may be spared the worst.

What's best for the kids, and not what's best for them. They're off because they want to be off. Any adult worth their salt can handle preparing for a hurricane that won't make landfall until the next damn day, while picking up their kids at 3 PM from school. Coastal parishes, half a day for evacuations. Simple. Don't cancel on Thursday, because you have plenty of time to make that decision once the storm has passed. Friday, they just playing around now. .

Schools are closed on Wednesday. That’s it so far. Are you saying the schools should be open half a day tomorrow?

Padnuh, I expect these overpriced babysitters to do their jobs like WE HAVE TO DO TO TODAY. Why can't they get shite done like the rest of the world?

We've done this so, so, SO MANY TIMES. If you are a responsible human being, you can work, and get your shite prepared for a hurricane. Like Cajuns have been doing for decades. It's a Cat 1, hoss. I speak for responsible arse people. You speak for the reactionary bitches. It's a Cat 1. 1. God damn 1. I fart faster than that.

What liability is there on Friday? None. It's a free vacation paid for by taxpayers. There's also none today. Absolutely none. Wednesday, yes. Thursday, maybe. Show me on the doll where the Liability touched you? People like you are why the stores are empty and lines at gas stations. You sir, absolutely suck.

I always count on the storm ending up where that chrome dome Cantore sets up his circus. Yesterday he was in Moran city. Some people don’t think it be like that. But it do.

And all those posts deserve to be in another thread. I wish we had an official thread to disseminate models, tracks, landings, etc. Where people could ask legitimate questions and our in house experts could better help so many people.

Leave prep, school closings, traffic, etc to other threads.

The intensity of the 12z runs continues to trend in the right direction. All in the Cat 1 range.

Lafayette is closed today, hoss. Many are closing half days. Coastal parishes make sense for half days with flood prone areas. Learn to read, pud.
