Original Story:

4 students at University of Idaho found dead near campus in suspected homicide

quote:

Police are investigating the homicide of four University of Idaho students who were found dead Sunday near campus.

Just before noon Sunday, police officers responded to a call of an unconscious person less than a mile from campus and discovered four bodies, according to a release from the city of Moscow, a close-knit college town located in the hills of north-central Idaho.

Students were advised to shelter in place for about an hour Sunday until police determined there was no active threat, university officials said on Twitter.

Moscow Police haven't publicly identified the victims or said how they died. More information wasn't immediately available, and it was unclear if they had a suspect.

Suspect Arrested:

Suspect Bryan Christopher Kohberger arrested in killings of 4 university students

Authorities have arrested a suspect in the Nov. 13 murders of four University of Idaho students, officials announced Friday.

Bryan Christopher Kohberger, 28, was taken into custody by local police and the FBI at 1:30 a.m. in eastern Pennsylvania on a warrant charging him with four counts of murder and burglary for the deaths of Ethan Chapin, 20, Xana Kernodle, 20, Kaylee Goncalves, 21, and Madison Mogen, 21.

The suspect is a graduate student at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington. Pullman is a 15-minute drive from the rental home where the four students were stabbed to death.

Bodycam footage from traffic stop released:

Bryan Kohberger, now charged in Idaho murders, was pulled over twice in Indiana on Dec. 15 as he drove with his dad from WSU to Pennsylvania for winter break.

Here's just-released body cam footage of the first stop, which the cop said was for following too closely.

Affidavit Released:

A newly unsealed filing in the murders of four University of Idaho students includes several pieces of a puzzle that depict a blurry picture of what happened inside an off-campus house in Moscow, Idaho, on Nov. 13, 2022.

Police believe Bryan Kohberger fatally stabbed Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle and Kernodle’s boyfriend Ethan Chapin between 4:00 a.m. and 4:25 a.m., according to a probable cause affidavit that was released Thursday.

That time frame can be narrowed down to a 16-minute window between 4:04 a.m. and 4:20 a.m.

Preliminary Date Set
quote:

The preliminary date has been set for 11am CT on June 26th.

Search warrants unsealed:

Bodycam footage from first stop released

They mention a swat team and a shooting. This officer seems more annoyed than other one. He was pulled over for tailgating in this stop too. Lol.

I’m not sure why this has info for the investigation. I only watched once, so I guess i missed whatever the pertinent info is. It’s all video. Not just audio like the first.

He seems to be hiding his hands

So here is the Carfax report for Bryan’s car:
LINK

Purchased the car in 2019. PLooks like he got his tires changed quite a bit.

The big thing, is AFTER the murders, he changed the registration on the car from PA to WA.

Probably a really smart move in preventing getting caught if you think a camera might have caught just a distant color of the license plate, but not the full numbers.
But, it will also help in the prosecution though

Yeah, there's a lot of movement between the two. Seems a student could partake of the party scene at both schools.

And there's a paved greenway/trail between the two towns, I've always wanted to go check it out because I'm weirdly interested in greenways.

If it was then why did they determine that there was no longer a danger to the general public?

Maybe one shot the other three and then suicided?

Based on the names of victims, this speculation can only be 75% accurate

Obviously the city & University are to blame. I sense a different tone here when it's not a HBCU
