Damn, apparently being a dentist around here is pretty lucrative to afford a house that cost that much..

They didn’t get their money from practicing dentistry.

Doc Penington was just a lowly optometrist too.

You can get this for 14.5 million on 69 acres in Jackson Hole
I’d initiate every single acre there with a different ho.

To put how bad of a real estate investment this is, the most expensive house ever sold in New Orleans was for $6,900,000 last month.

Eta: This may seem worse but It has the largest courtyard in the French Quarter which is understandably appealing.

How many people in Baton Rouge have the money to spend $14 million on a house? 10?

Doesnt matter, it only takes 1.

But i dont think there’s even 1 person who’s able to afford it in BR who would actually buy that particular house.

I’d suspect some developer will buy it, raze the house subdivide. That’s a decent sized lot and the shape lends itself to subdividing.

Filmed a movie called "The Search Party" there. Not a porno, sorry. The grounds were beautiful.

ETA: They used the pool as a "Mexican Resort" scene. It was May and unusually cold, and they hadn't heated the pool. I felt bad for the extras IN the pool. I got to sit on a lounge chair for the two scenes. That big glass is a door that opens entirely, opening the house to the pool.

And not even in it's own room. Pretty low class

It's hard to imagine that there's a big demand for homes in that price range in Baton Rouge. Especially ones without any sort of view or anything that is impressive beyond sheer size.

I mean, for half that price you can get a mansion on top of a hill on 40 acres in Southern California that includes a Vineyard, its own roads, helipad, a creek, Mediterranean weather, and views over the valley. Use the savings to compensate for higher taxes and buy a $2m home in Baton Rouge for when you have to stay there.

He buys for 6 asks gor 14 and maybe gets 8.75...not a bad return.

You apparently don't understand his role in Bluebonnet Dental. BT W most people pay straight up for dental work...most dental insurance ia hot trash

Demo Diva makes money on legit bids both on insurance and private.
