My wife is the only female on earth that can truly make me angry. I love that woman ,but she just knows what buttons she can push to really piss me off ,and with that being said the thought of raising my hand to her has never crossed my mind. This dude is a bitch and he is deliberately assaulting someone who is clearly weaker than him in front of a baby. Hopefully he gets years for that.

It isn't. However, there are probably multiple players in the league right now who are guilty of domestic abuse. Ray Rice was one of them. He was suspended for like three or four games for knocking his girlfriend out in an elevator. It wasn't until the tape was made public that the NFL suspended him indefinitely.

Weird angle - "whataboutism". I get that you, as a black male, bristle when the inevitable generalizations start from the usual quarters.
I 100% get that. However, since this particular conduct is indefensible, I figured the better line would be the absolutely truthful, "That's not me. That's not a fair representation of black men." While statistics may be what statistics are, it is certainly accurate and fair to suggest we shouldn't judge the actions of all black men based on these few snippets of video.
On the other hand, now imagine how white folks feel in 2021 being asked to answer for shite white people (and black people for that matter) did 160 years ago.

This is actually very true. I have a few cop friends. While they themselves do not beat their wives it is well known that their is a high rate of this. Plus they are very,very very controlling of their family and everything around them. Divorce rate it high too because of this. Unfortunately they bring their jobs home with them. I've seen my friends change, for the worse,over the past 20 years since they joined the force.
