Foreign cars with American engines

There are a bunch, especially during the muscle car period. I’ll refrain from naming all the ones I know to give others a chance to think about it.
The Triumph TR8 technically had a 3.5 liter V8 engine built by Rover, but it was designed by Buick.

Fun fact: some Saturn Vues from the early 2000s were equipped with the Honda 3.5 v6

As I recall, Rolls-Royce had Chevy 350’s and transmissions. Rolls blue printed them and got a minimum of 500k miles…

When the 1.8 dies in my Miata it's getting replaced with a GM ecotech. So I guess I will be in this list one day.

They used GM Turbohydramatic transmissions (along with Ferrari, Jag, and a few of other EU automakers who needed a high torque capacity state of the art hydraulic automatic back in the 1970s).
I was not aware that they ever used SBC's

Rover licensed that Buick V8 back in the 1960's and used it in a wide variety of their Land Rover SUVs and cars.

I've never driven a TR8 but would like to. I had a bunch of friends driving used Landies 20 years ago (terrible ideae btw) and the V8 was the best part.
Supposedly Britol is back in business to build a few more Viper V10-powered cars.
And some other favorites, the Iso Grifo with Corvette 283
And the Bizarini with the same block
The AC Ace with FOrd 260 V8 which later became the Cobra.
And its lesser known cousin with an Italian Frua body and FOrd 428 V8, same chassis.
