You’re aware that F-150s are trucks right? No one wants an electric truck.

Yes the Ford F-Series was #3 behind #1 Tesla model Y and #2 Toyota carolla.

In Colorado EVs are all over the road. Teslas, Rivians, hell all the brands. Had a big state rebate along with a fed rebate and everything took off.

Call me crazy but it seems like battery cars and trucks are what we call "a bad idea".

I'm not particularly against them other than the a-hole in the White House and his friends think they can force technology on us that is just not ready for prime time, the justification they give us bullhockey, and the raw materials come from one of our top enemy countries.

I’d like to know who is buying the 75k they do plan to produce?

A lot of fleets are buying them up.

That’s it. The numbers are fake news because a TD poster doesn’t notice them on the road.

You know that most people on Earth don’t live in Bawville and drive 1/2 tons, right?

Make them. There will be a market for them.

But stop shoving it in my face thinking it’s going to change my mind about owning one. It won’t.

Seems that the consumers are not adopting electric vehicles as much as planned.

Or Ford can't make the vehicle profitable.

Not sure why this keeps getting posted.. you know the Tesla model Y just became the best selling car in the world right?

Maybe Ford and GM just can’t get their shite together too?

Wrong. Just because you read that somewhere on the internet doesn’t make it so. Show us some CREDIBLE data………..if you can even find some.

Who’s shoving it in your face? And how? No one’s shoving it in my face. We simply have more options to choose from. Do you expect the OEM’s to not advertise the cars they sell?

It’s like getting triggered by the yearly “December to Remember” commercials. Stop shoving it in my face!

I have a Lightning and have had it about a year. It works fine but I have had a bunch of recalls. When one goes to Denver, which I did recently, they will see everything identifiable. Lightnings, Teslas, Rivians, Mach Es etc. But mostly Teslas. I can't ID Audi, Mercedes, BMW EVs. I don't even know if they exist. As long as gasoline is cheap, most people will not want an EV. There are a hell of a lot more ICE cars in Colorado (like 90%) than EVs.

What s moronic statement. The truth is only what is readily visible to you? The reason you don't see as many as you stupidly think you should is the number of cars 3 years old are older far outnumber more recently produced cars.

I don't see them them because they're not the top selling car in the U.S. and especially the South. The F-150, Silverado and Ram are still the top selling vehicles in this country.

EV's have their place in the world. Full-sized trucks isn't really their wheelhouse.

agreed. EV makes sense for city driving, second or third family car. But primary vehicle in remote areas or long commutes ain't for EV and not for trucks.

Imagine trying to take the eEV Truck to West TX deer lease for the weekend.

Yeah but it isn't like they are out selling tesla 50 to 1 or anything like that. There were 285k Tesla Ys sold this year, 333k Rams sold, 403k Silverados, 575k f series.

The reason u dont see as many teslas as Rams is because of older vehicles on the road and living in a poor state for electric vehicles.

Louisiana doesn't have any large metropolis like EVs are suited for. Our largest cities don't even have half a million people.

I know like 4 people that drive cars. Like 99% of people in the world drive trucks. Maybe I just don’t know many car drivers because I don’t work at the hair salon like you

My SIL drives her Model Y from San Antonio to just outside Abilene to the ranch twice a month and hasn’t had any issues.

This stuff needs to end. They also need taxes for all the extra weight on the roads.

If they make a small EV truck around $20,000 I'll consider it.
