Regardless of how good the car is, the branding is going to hold it back. Maybe Ford should have started a 3rd brand for their EV's or made this into a Lincoln product.

2013 Ram 5.7L just passed 160K miles with ZERO issues. Paint and interior looks great too...I can still read my buttons and my dashboard hasn't cracked under the LA sun....good luck getting that out of a GM

I'm liking the idea of the 4 door antimatter blue, white top, white flares, but keeping the grill black (lovebugs...), if I can get the blue on the rims too like that red rendering...OH BABY. Daddy like.

Think I prefer the current dash and screen. Maybe its just me, but I don't like or want a big iPad in the middle of my dash for everything. Not crazy about the digital instruments either.

FACT. The Sierra Denali or Sierra AT4 with the 6.2L V8 are the best trucks on the market now...although the loaded Ram Limited has a nicer center stack/infotainment screen.
The new I-6 duramax diesel engine is also awesome.

160K miles isn’t all that much for a full sized GM. I traded mine in at about that mileage. No issues with my old Silverado except headlight bulbs that were an absolute bitch to change.

That’s the trend. Chevy is updating their interior next year to fit a bigger screen on the higher end models - similar to what’s on the new Tahoe and Suburban. The new Tundra is also coming out soon with a big vertically oriented screen and standard adaptive cruise control.
Trucks are going to get even more expensive.

I actually like the two-door if it has legit off-road capability. If it actually looks like that blue two-door with the white top, I very well may make that my next car.

I definitely know people who like both Mustangs and electric cars. The redneck / soyboy dichotomy you're imagining is far from perfect.
