For you baws that like watching Xtreme 4X4 and Overhaulin', Jessi Combs has died

She was also on Mythbusters. She was trying to break the land speed record and crashed yesterday. I really liked watching her in the various car shows on Spike TV and she seemed very knowledgeable. RIP

I heard on the John Osterland show that she was trying to break her record of 398 mph. In a previous attempt, stopped for mechanical problems, she reached 483 mph, but it's unofficial. She was driving a jet engine that developed 52,000 hp!

I had seen her before Mythbusters when she was on Spike TV. I thought she did a really good job of filling in for Kari too. A shame this happened.

That is weird that he is saying that....Like he knows of some rumors already. I also read the following in a quote from him, on her death:
"Please donate to nothing, I know there will be people try, we are finishing the documentary as she wished and the world will know the truth....."
Kinda similar idea there.

I mean he’s a little too close to her emotionally to trust what he’s saying. Could just be trying to shift focus on the positives and not what may or may not have caused the accident.
