Our little town is too crowded with tourist cars, it’s the best way to get around.

My town allows golf carts but you need a permit from the town. Requirements for the permit, among other things, is having insurance.

Can confirm. I have been a tourist in that area. ALL the locals drive golf carts and it is ok with the town law enforcement from what i understand.

Same here. I got mine before the permit process, which is handled by the selling shop, was in place...and just never looked into it. I’m guessing this one is totaled, so my next one will be permitted since I already have insurance. No idea what the process is if the shop doesn’t do it.

Out here in Nocatee we have golf cart paths but there are share the road signs when you have to get off the paths and onto the road. No insurance required with golf carts here. I am representing that LSU golf cart with that natty championship flying high

we stay in Old Town which is like 6 blocks so we walk everywhere... except my jackass cousin who trailers his golf cart there. He will probably get a golf cart DUI at some point.

No sympathy. Those jackasses are the worst. Especially the parents who let their kids drive them around

Yeah in my hood we have this family that their kids are constantly driving around the neighborhood in the GC.. Problem is they never move out of the way for cars and ride in the middle of the damn road..

On top of being complete asshats they pick everyone of their friends around the neighborhood and cruise for hours with like 15 kids on this thing.. How the motor even keeps up is astounding to say the least.

(SIDENOTE) Told my wife I should buy a GC and mount 6 forward facing paintball guns with one massive hoped and follow them around and light them up.. Was even thinking of going with the Red Barron paint scheme.. (/SIDENOTE)

Sadly they're not he worst.. the worst is the two moron 12yr olds and their equally moronic parents that gave them ATVs.. those 2 are constantly hauling arse thru the neighborhood.. Glad I'm moving soon

Sounds like you live in my neighborhood. Have the exact same kids you are talking about. I couldn't care less but sounds like we are neighbors.
