Check with your local police dept.... That's who issues the permits for our town.

The damn thing can’t break 15 mph going down hill.

Even more reason you shouldn't be driving it on the road where cars drive much faster.

Our little town is too crowded with tourist cars, it’s the best way to get around.

Just a heads up, some people have figured out a way to get around that is less costly, takes up less space, is more enviro-friendly, and can help you stay healthy.

The sidewalk in your link begs to differ. And the bikeways throughout Holland with their flat paved surfaces DO count in the space taken (since folks aren't allowed to walk on some of them.)

Complete PITA to get the cart fixed under her insurance

Why doesn't no pay no play apply to this?

If they all used a golf cart or a vehicle instead of a bike there would need to be bigger roads and more parking lots.

You can stack two bikes on a wall in your garage where a golf cart needs a large spot.

Golf carts are bigger than bikes.

Mississippi does require you to carry liability, but they don’t have no play language in their laws. That’s why he got a citation but is also getting his cart fixed by her insurance.

If that's the case I sincerely hope she doesn't encounter any people on bikes or parents with strollers on her travels.

Sounds like you live in my neighborhood. Have the exact same kids you are talking about. I couldn't care less but sounds like we are neighbors.

All 3 of us must live in the same neighborhood. The two kids with the 4 wheelers live just up the street from me. Golf carts with kids hanging off the roof, etc.

You should see the arguments on Nextdoor regarding this same in my neighborhood. It escalated last week because the kids were placing firecrackers in mailboxes and someone turned off their security tape to the police.
