Went to Blue Oak last night and got their special, which was a brisket Philly cheesesteak and it was absurd.
Will not be ashamed if i go back there tonight

You think God really determines eternal fate based on a one day a week diet choice?

Absolutely. It’s not like eating fish gets you into heaven, but eating meat on a Friday definitely puts you off the guest list.

I think its based on how you vote and your race

The real Catholics abstain from meat on all Fridays and legit fast fast on Lenten Fridays

Because only land animals are considered "meat". That's all I got. Also, any place that sells shrimp poboys is going to make a mint today.
I, on the other hand, am going to eat two pounds of Porterhouse.

Fried Froglegs aren't meat, either.

Everyone knows that God will use post history from the OT to determine entrance into the pearly gates.

It’s always a surprise to me why non-Catholics get so butt hurt about Catholic Lenten observances.
Strange as it may seem, it’s these small expressions of faith, or at least a feeling of belonging to a group, which CINO’s (Catholic in name only) tend to hold onto even as they struggle with other serious parts of the faith.
This is not meant to ridicule them. Far from it. I pray that every fallen Catholic, indeed every non-Catholic as well, finds the love of Christ in their heart and the Truth that is taught by the Magisterium of the Catholic Church.
If it’s eating shrimp po-boys instead of hamburgers on Fridays in lent that keeps them loosely tethered to that Truth, well maybe there is some method to the madness of this supposed sacrifice.
