Hoping to get to that number with my 2007 4Runner; currently 199k.

Mine was still rocking along pretty well when I traded it in. I had backed into something and instead of replacing the back bumper I went ahead and traded it while I could still get something for it. All I ever did on that 4Runner was change the oil, tires, and brakes/rotors from 0 miles to 252K miles.
My goal now is to see if I can make the current one last until my boys can drive it

Needs about $2000 worth of work. Might get around to it one of these days.

Guy I work with recently got one of these. The stock exhaust makes my pants tight.

My next car is probably going to be a truck but truck prices need to get sane again before that happens.. maybe wishful thinking

Tesla has been around long enough; as has Nissan, Chevy and Toyota.

By government standards, the batteries have to last 100,000 miles (150,000 in CA).

The main question that comes to mind is whether the car is running on its original battery and drive units? Well, no.

Tesla did replace the battery for free at 180,000 miles.

That is not normal and you should expect to pay around $15,000 for battery replacement.

There are barely any moving parts in EVs, so it is interesting to not see more of them. They are not ideal for long trips though.

1984 Chev S-10 Blazer, 267,000 miles.
Everything on it still works, it just got its' second carburetor.
Daily driver, use it on the 4 wheel drive trails in the San Juans in SW Colorado .It is 2 wheel drive. Never got stuck.
Can't find a new vehicle to replace it with. Wife (no pics) has 2 cars.
Bought the kids, in college, each a used Honda Civic.
New cars are nice, but the price and insurance costs are beyond ridiculous.

2005 Toyota Sequoia....only around 117,000 miles. 2008 Toyota Camry, around 175,000 miles. Still got a lot of life in both of 'em.

My oldest is driving a 2007 honda accord with over 215K miles on it. We just got it looked at overall by a mechanic and I just had to replace a hose on it. He said otherwise it looks good. Don't know how long it will last, seems like she dings the damn thing twice a month on something. When she got it it had no dents and 4 hubcaps. Now it has one hubcap, and about 10 different spots on the car that is dented or scraped. That thing only has liability on it.

I'm not willing to pay for it. I don't need heated seats and touchscreen navigation in a truck. Air conditioner, radio, power windows and locks are my required features

I tournament fish a lot. So, I'm in and out of a lot of trucks. I hate everything about the new trucks. A fricking huge arse I-Pad looking navigation/radio screen, backup cameras, heated seats, AC controls from NASA, etc, etc, etc. I only wish that the '86 suburban I bought had hand crank windows. Only way it could be better. It still has the analog radio in it and it works.

Though admittedly I’m not sure if I’m a drive it til it dies guy. I want to get a good 15 years out of every car I own, but beyond that I’m not pushing it to the absolute limit.

I can't partake in this discussion as my wife has a 2 1/2 year old Highlander and I just picked up a Tacoma Sport back in November which I hope to get at least 350K miles out of.

My daughter got my old Ford Fusion and it's a 2016 with I think around 150K miles on it. Befor that Fusion I had an 08 one and I got 280K miles out of it.

I hate that Ford did away with the Fusions. They were solid cars.

2014 F-150 ~192k miles. Nothing wrong with it. The biggest repair I have had is the water pump went out. Took me about 4 hours and $100 to fix.
