The making children excuse cracks me up. A man has a baby with his wife and we expected just cruise on and work more.

Woman has a baby while asking for equal rights and she deserves 3 months off, special everything and sympathy for how hard she has it.m

Never change women searching for equality but not wanting to meet the standards of it.

Lazy!!!

Can we see the average testing scores for those groups?

Yes I know the colors are weird.

I don’t know how much affirmative action if any there is for women in med school. A lot of pre med majors I see now are women.

So by the OT's standards you either are a female that works and never has children or if you want children...your only option is to never work and be a stay at home mom? Maybe you sell Rodan and Fields if your husband allows it?

If you want to be treated equally then yes. Otherwise, by definition, you aren’t equal.

Applicants and Matriculation data

They have several breakdown lists for varying conditions, so pick the one that best suits you

A 25 on the mcat is equivalent to a 14 on the act

It depends on how much value you put into saving lives and if you like constant interaction with people

Many people are assuming that women are being accepted because of equal opportunity, but the reality is, there has been a massive push for women in STEM. My company (Fortune 500) puts on programs for young ladies to get them interested.

I had a 29 MCAT, 3.5 GPA and worked in an ER 30-60 hours a week for 3 years during college and didn't get in my first time. A friend with a 3.2 GPA, 25 MCAT and a Indian vagina was accepted over me. Early lesson on what metrics are important. Every form that is filled out on my children has them listed as native american.

As far as women working less hours I have an anecdotal but fitting example. My brother and his wife graduated from the same med school and were accepted to the same residency during the same year. Fast forward 8 years, he is the Chief of Medicine of a large hospital system working 180ish hours a month. She works 2 8 hr PRN shifts per week and wants to cut down.

Never a better time to be a male nurse gentelman. Just scoop up one of these female doctors and you're set.

It's the exact opposite in vet school.

Women have the hardest time getting in, but if you are a man with the bare minimum qualifications, you are guaranteed a spot.

So don't take your dog to a male vet.
