Follically challenged baws: When did you decide to just cut it all off?

I used to have thick, luxurious blond locks. Chicks dug it. It was part of my whole persona.
Now, every day is a bad hair day. It’s thinning, hard to manage, and never looks good even when it’s at its best. I don’t know about going full scale chrome dome, but I’m starting to consider going really fricking short. It looks like shite anyway, so why not just own it?
When/how did my brothers in baldness decide to cut it all off? What are your stories?

What I was told is shave it once what you see in the mirror doesn’t match what you see in pictures.

I lost it all up top but i ended up growing out my sides and back and now I comb it and put it in a pony tail. I think it’s looks alright

Definitely shave it all off if you start to bald. I saw a study one time, they showed women a bunch of pictures of men with shaved heads, and then the same man with a bald top but with hair on the sides and back. One hundred percent of the women found the fully shaved men more attractive.

In 1989, clipped my hair damned near to the scalp in preparation for Ranger School. It never grew back, lol. Was easy choice after that...
