Doesn’t Ozempic want make you eat less and drink less alcohol?
It basically makes you feel sick if you eat/drink too much or even just eat shitty food. Spending hundreds of dollars a month to feel sick while counting bad habits is… a choice

It does more than that (the nausea isn't always there). There are studies finding it reduces the actual thought/rumination that can do with overeating but also with other potentially addictive behaviors.

We are self insured and carved it out of the plan, you can get it but it’s a higher copay and you get it’s shipped internationally for 1/4 the price

From what I’ve heard the shot will make you not want to drink as well as not eat. So yeah it’s the drug not newfound discipline.

If it wasn’t due to the drug, then why take the drug?

why do you care?
There’s lots of reasons to care, ranging from my own pocket to their long term health

I don't give a frick what someone does to lose weight
I didn’t want Les Miles to be the head coach at LSU at the end of his tenure… I didn’t want someone to murder him for that to be accomplished

There is a type of person that seems to have lost its sense of superiority because others are losing weight via a drug as compared to the old fashioned way of exercise and discipline.
I still have that sense of superiority being fit vs those that have lost weight via Ozempic.

Those droopy faced dorks will still never be us George

Ozempic just mimics your body's GLP1 production, which is easily done by going on a low carb diet.
Got a link to that? Are you saying you can eat all the steak you want and not put on weight?

I disagree. Someone taking a “cheat code” pill to lose fat will not instill discipline in them. They will get the reward without any of the habits that come with actively sustaining health. So either they will have to remain on the pill for the remainder of their life or they will inevitably revert back to pre drug intervention.

Years of hard work in the gym, late nights and early mornings will always triumph the instant gratification of a drug. People who haven’t trained to that degree literally cannot understand though.

They can’t be us because they’re lazy and eat like assholes.

You don't need to be a workout warrior.
Just quit eating crap all day and a person won't be a fat tub of shite.

Wondering if anyone else has noticed this from Ozempic/Mounjaro users
Serious question, why do you care enough to start a thread about it? Strange

If it bothers you then suggest that they stop taking the shot.

Yes, but no. They go hand in hand. If you just try to eat healthy and don’t workout, you won’t get the cardiovascular benefits, your body won’t be able to metabolize energy as efficiently, and you won’t get the release of endorphins post workout. There’s pretty much no good reason not to workout.
