If you truly believe we are basically uninsurable due to too frequent hurricane then the solution is not to attract hundreds of companies that will still break it off in you. Your just asking for them to offer crumbs to get your business. Better to just move to Iowa if you think competition will make it affordable

I guess the pilot and mechanics that keep the jet up are working for free.

Those are salaried positions and must be paid whether the plane is in the air or not.

That is 54 dollars in fuel cost round trip.

Damn, TIL the cost of flying is limited to the cost of fuel. I guess the pilot and mechanics that keep the jet up are working for free.

Well I was only factoring in fuel and the fact that some CEO’s with planes are also pilots so I was assuming that he was doing that in a smaller Cessna type plane, but this CEO is actually using a twin turbo jet, that some one estimated about 4,000 an hour to operate, but even that doesn’t move my outrage meter.

if insurances paid their fair share, there wouldn't be a need for plaintiff lawyers... and that's sorta my point...

What in the holy hell is going on over there? Why such a difference in rates? I don’t get it?

I called on the CEO of Pizza Hut in the 80's. He lived on Lake Texoma and flew his own plane into Love Field, a little over 80 miles, a couple of times a week. As someone who lived within the Dallas city limits for around 30 years, I was pretty jealous.

I don’t think anyone has a problem with a CEO taking a private jet
Wrong! Why can’t they fly commercial? They’re already grossly overpaid.

Because their time is more valuable than the cost of the jet time.

To make matters worse, the company passes this expense onto Louisiana policyholders through their rates.

We already pay too much for insurance in Louisiana, this doesn’t help.

god you're dumb.

CEO's are rich. Rich people do rich people things.

Are insurance co's only suppose to hire middle-class CEOs? If that were the case, I'm guessing they might have a hard time filling that position

This was stupid story meant to entertain the Karens of the world.
