Used to get it annually for years until the Covid vaccine debacle
The Covid shot is a mRNA vaccine. Totally different from the flu shot which is proven safe and effective.

I just got my flu shot yesterday. I asked the doc about the effectiveness and he said last years flu shot was very effective. The only flu patients he saw were people who were not vaccinated.

The last time I had the flu was that year we had a very late flu outbreak (March/April). The flu shot does wear off. I might ask for a second round in February if this year’s has high efficacy.

C never took it, never will.

I’ll go to a craps table and bet on snake eyes before taking a shot that doesn’t address the active strains of the flu.

As a military brat….you get lined up and every time you take a breath.

I understand the battery of shots taken when leaving to go overseas. I don’t agree with this crapshoot for nothing.

I feel like shite when I take it, but it’s required by some of my clients, so if I do a site visit I sometimes have to take it. If it’s not required, I don’t take it.
I’ve had the flu once in my life.

All vaccines are made to make $ and they are dangerous to your health, Mercury, Aluminum, nano tech, animal parts. are all included in a lot of them. Choose wisely if you care about your health

I’ve gotten he flu shot maybe four times in my life and I’ve had the flu exactly one time. I don’t believe flu shots work for me.

There should be an E. Occasionally got the flu shot if it was convenient

At best, in a 'good match' year it is only 50% effective. Perhaps for the elderly or health impaired this is significant.

The last 3 or so times I have gotten vaccines recently (shingles being the most recent) flu/Covid prior to that.. I was sick as a dog for three days. 102 fever, lethargy, hot swollen arm. They can say the flu shot doesn't give you the flu all they want but if I have a fever and feel like shite for the majority of the week, it might as well be. Begs the question.. why bother with the shot?

C. Never got it- probably never will.

Have had flu twice in my life, back to back same season, A and B. It was absolutely miserable but that was at least ten or 15 years ago and haven't gotten it since.

When I'm older I may change my mind, so I can't say never will.

After the COVID bullshite I learned that the flu jab is on average about 50% effective-per the CDC. Some years 40%. Some years 60%. I understand that no vaccine is 100% effective. But in my mind 50% is pretty low. So.....

This may be true. . . But I've always been skeptical of pharmaceutical companies. Covid only widened the gap of trust. Pharmaceuticals have been crooked for decades now. And covid also made me realize that many doctors follow CDC guidelines blindly and therefore I don't trust most of them either.

I think I've had the flu shot one time in my adult life, and I got the flu that season. Regardless if that was coincidence or not, my track record of not getting the flu without the vaccine is pretty good, so I'll continue not sticking something unnecessary in my body.

I used to be skeptical of people who said that but last year i had a new job and they offered it. I hadn’t had a flu shot in like 6 years. I was out of work for a week about 2 months later with the worst flu A i’ve ever had. Fever 104 for days.

B. Spent two decades traveling until COVID. No need now.
The only time I ever actually got the flu was in pre-2000s when I got my first flu shot while working at Woman's Hospital in BTR.

People don't realize how many people die of the flu every year.

And how many cases of the flu were attributed to Covid in 2019-20? I always thought it odd that no one seemed to catch the flu that year.

For the record, I'm in group C. Never had a flu vaccination and will probably never seek it. Not against anyone who wants it to get it, but it's just not for me.
