I like when he goes off about people thinking weed is a non violent crime. I see what he’s trying to say about some drug dealers having guns and all. But I’d say that most weed smokers aren’t going around and committing all of these violent crimes as a majority.

Did ya hear what I said? Mr. Smith had 1.3 pounds of marijuana and a Glock. You want to tell me that this is a non violent offense??? Did ya hear what I said? A Glock! So don’t tell me these are non violent offenses! (As he puts on a gold chain that was seized in the arrest.)

Another advantage of being a woman is never having to pay for sex.

Glad to hear that most real crime has been eliminated and that scarce law enforcement resources can be devoted to this critical issue.

All the more reason to make it legal and regulated. I think most of us do not care about paying for sex in its purest form

And do you care about paying taxes for new government programs to make it legal and then more programs to regulate all that comes with legality?

Do you have any clue what goes into regulating such things? Its not nearly as simple as what people think it is. You're trying to regulate physical interactions between two people that goes deeper than even a doctor's visit which has an entire insurance industry behind it. You can spread disease, you need standards for pre-care, aftercare, standards for the customers, standards for the environment in which the acts take place, credentialism for the people involved and the people who go into the industry. I'd imagine you'd get prostitution unions, you'd have to pay taxes, get security background checks (it would have to happen in order to avoid lawsuits from a prostitution group allowing known violent offenders to receive service that could put the prostitutes at risk).

There are laws for knowingly spreading diseases, but how can you track that? Does everyone have to get an STD panel before receiving the service?

All of this will drive up the price and all of the johns you see in that picture will be priced out of the service and youll end up with illegal prostitutes anyways that will exploit the market at the low cost end which will work outside of the government regulated bounds.

All you've done is pushed the market like the one in the OP deeper underground and accomplished nothing.

I find it funny that people who call themselves conservatives are begging for government involvement when it comes to prostitution. You get the government involved in anyway and they'll regulate and tax it into oblivion. Oh, and studies show human trafficking increases as prostitution increases regardless of its legality.

You should just say prostitution should be 5 times more expensive, because thats the only thing you'll accomplish.

Prostitutes will no longer be arrested for prostitution but will be arrested for running unregulated prostitution rings.

Also, do you want to live in an area with these prostitution businesses?

Ah yes, the ole “make it legal” argument just like marijuana. Problem is criminals have no plans to play by the rules and start paying taxes on their income. Some way with prostitutes. Criminals will be criminals regardless of the legality of it.
violent criminals are let out of jail early due to overceowded jails all the time.

Make thing's like this and minor drug offenses legal, and you suddenly have a shite ton more room for the real criminals committing crimes with actual victims.
